October 16, 2010- The First day out . Although the skies above were a gloomy gray, I went out to find abnormally fine conditions. The water was glass-like, which allowed me to speed out 15-miles off the coast of Southern California! The conditions were, for lack of a better word, Perfect. The gray skies provided soft light for photography, and the smooth ocean allowed for me to find interesting things, such as a pod of common dolphins and a 100-foot blue whale.
